"Der Kaiser" Franz Beckenbauer turtleneck by Tens Club
The New York-based collective is back as every other tenth day of the month
December 7th, 2017
The tenth day of the month is approaching and so it’s the new release by Tens Club, the New York-based creative collective. This time though, Lucas Shanks’ boys went right back to the Seventies, when European football was dominated by "Der Kaiser" Franz Beckenbauer.
Not with an iconic kit worn on the pitch by the Bayern Munich legend, but with one of his most characteristics garments of the private life: the turtleneck. Tens Club, in fact, has realized a long-sleeved black one, with a white embroidered “Tens Club” writing on each and every one of the items made. It’s not a case that the white writing is placed on the necklace, as it’s a garment that should be worn under a jersey (of course, a football one) or a sweatshirt.
