The Star Wars-inspired football kits
The designer Nerea Palacios imagined the uniforms for the Rebellion, the Galactic Empire, and even C-3PO

Finally, the waiting is over. After two years from the last episode - with an incursion from Rogue One in the meantime - Star Wars is about to come back to the theaters with episode VIII, that should answer many questions risen with The Force Awakens. And while critics are full of compliments for Disney’s latest work and The Last Jedi is ready to break all its predecessor’s records, the fan of the saga have been preparing for the great date’s outfit for a long time know. Is it better the Jedi cassock or a Wookiee costume? Hair like Leila Organa or a black cloak like the Sith Knights?
If you are extreme fans of Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, and Chewbacca’s adventure, you would even consider to show up for the Thursday football game with your friends dressed up with some football shirts dedicated to the multiverse created by George Lucas. And that should be the idea that got designer Nerea Palacios thinking, as he imagined several football kits inspired by Star Wars factions. Because let’s be honest, who has never dreamt of a Galactic Empire-Rebel Alliance derby? Unfortunately, these shirts are just a concept for now, but maybe for the ninth and last (for now) episode of the saga - scheduled for 2019 - they’ll become something more concrete.
