John Wall has just re-signed with adidas
After two years of "free agency", Wizards' point guard came back into Three Stripes' arms

The NBA free agency is always an interesting world to follow, even when it’s about… sneakers. After two years of “freedom”, lived by wearing pairs of Nikes and Jordan Brands, John Wall seems to have decided for a return into adidas’ arms, signing a five-year contract with the German brand. Wall’s career started with a contract signed with Reebok (5 years, $25 million dollars) and then continued with adidas once Reebok stopped producing basketball shoes (sigh!).
The Washington Wizards point guard received two signature models from adidas, then renouncing to aan8-year $66 million dollar renewal. The reason? At the time, his colleague James Harden had just received a massive contract with the Three Stripes, 13 years for a $200 million dollar amount… And a truck full of adidas gear. So, Wall explored the free agency for a long time, hoping to get “Harden money” from the brands. Now, after some rumors that wanted him signing with Nike, Wall decided to get back with adidas, even if there are no official data about the figure he will get. What do you say, he was right to make adidas wait or he will have settled on a minor contract? With the kind of figures the NBA has right now, we’d say the first hypothesis.
