Nike unveiled the new "Black Mamba" colorway for the Kobe A.D.
It's the same design used on the Air Force 1 that dropped in December for Bryant's jersey retirement

The fact that Kobe Bryant has retired from every agonistic activity doesn’t seem to afflict Nike Basketball, that keeps homaging the Black Mamba with new releases of his signature shoe, the Kobe A.D. Actually, the Swoosh recently dropped the Nike Air Force 1 “Black Mamba” but that was a particular release to homage Bryant shirts’ retirement, happened last December at the Staples Center.
Now, the Beaverton-based company is ready to release the same colorway - the “Black Mamba” - applied to former Lakers’ signature model, the Kobe A.D. The new sneaker will feature a mainly black upper, with golden detailing such as the Swoosh’s outline, the lower side of the midsole, and the “Black Mamba” signature, placed of the shoe’s tongues. Just like the AF1, also this Kobe A.D. will present a snakeskin pattern on the upper, embodying the Mamba soul of the sneaker.
