Every now and then, though, there are those moments when you can only stare at your tv/pc/tablet with vacuous gaze and dropped jaw because you’re witnessing history. During the Rockets victory over the Orlando Magic at the Toyota Center in Houston, the lucky spectators have been able to watch the making of a new chapter of the amazing history of the National Basketball Association. The author? Well, the “Beard” James Harden of course. The candidate MVP of the league recorded a triple-double - nothing particularly impressive so far - but the first in the NBA history, and therefore also Houston Rockets’, recorded while scoring the impressive amount of 60 points.

Harden, in fact, finished the game with 60 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, becoming the first NBA player to ever record a triple-double with that kind of stats. We’re talking about an historical performance, that proves that besides the team’s results - that is brilliant - Harden absolutely is one of the deadliest scorers in the league. Will this amazing record be enough to favor him in the MVP race and, most importantly, to bring Houston to the finals? Time will tell.
