Nike gave CR7 a pair of Air Force 1s with 24K gold Swooshes

Birthday gifts are always a difficult thing to make and to receive, as the unpleasant surprise is always just behind the corner. Unlikely, though, Cristiano Ronaldo won’t have appreciated the present that Nike Football made him yesterday for his 33rd birthday. The Swoosh, in fact, gave him a pair of Air Force 1 Low with CR7 branding, in a nice wooden box with golden detailing. A small detail: the sneaker’s Swoosh was 24K true gold.

Made by Ben Kirschner, that now realizes this kind of special edition sneakers for Nike’s best athletes, this Air Force 1 CR7 won’t ever be sold for the public, that can comfort itself with CR7’s AF1 and Air Max 97 released on nike.com. In fact, we only know about this pair of sneakers with 24K gold Swoosh thanks to Cristiano’s Instagram post from yesterday. What a birthday.
