Shoe Palace realized a "Superman" collection dedicated to Shaquille O'Neal
Made to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Shaq's first NBA All-Star Game appearance
February 13th, 2018
2018 is an important year for all the fans of “the Big Aristotle”, aka Shaquille O’Neal. In fact, it marks the 25th anniversary since his first debut at the All-Star Game, played in 1993 at Salt Lake City. To celebrate this important anniversary, Shoe Palace realized a special collection inspired by one of Shaq’s many nicknames: Superman. The drop is all around former Lakers’ signature “Shaq Attaq”, made by Reebok.
The Reebok sneaker will also be Superman-branded, with the iconic red, yellow, and blue colors of the DC Comics’ superhero. The shoe also keeps its original black and white tones, but the true gem is the Superman logo on the shoe tongue. An other item of the collection is the Mitchell & Ness tee, that keeps the color palette of said-above, adding a series of references to Shaquille O’Neal’s first All-Star Game, like white lettering and red 34 on the back. Finally, Stance offers a pair of red and blue socks, with Superman’s logo and branding, to make the pair with the sneakers and the tee.
