The Milan clubs' wishes video (again)
After the Christmas "show", Inter and Milan are back with the new year wishes for the Chinese supporters
February 16th, 2018
If you thought you’ve seen the worst of the worst in our article about the worst Christmas wishes videos made by the football teams, well, you may have to change your idea. In fact, yesterday, for the start of the Chinese year (year of the dog), the two Milan-based clubs - the only ones in Italy with a Chinese ownership - published two videos on their social profiles, wishing their Oriental supporters a happy new year. And well, let’s say that if we complained about the Christmas wishes, there’s no better stuff here.
Let’s start with AC Milan, that chose for some sort of “Chinese version” of the classic Christmas songs. The result, though, sounded like an endless series of noises pronounced in a random way, and for the footballers, it was probably just like that. Between an Ignazio Abate who tried to do his best with the job and a Nikola Kalinic that probably doesn’t even pronounce so many words in his own language, the 30 second of video passed in a moment. Luckily.
It wasn’t so good either the other Milanese team, Inter, that chose for a quite sober version than the cousins, but not so much. Even if the beginning of the video is less trash, with a group of player that wishes an happy new year to Inter’s Chinese fan in Italian or in the own language, Inter thought of ruining everything with some cuts of the video with the players cutting some cardboards with images and Chinese ideograms. Not so good.
