Atlanta United FC new away kit

With the incoming MLS season, all the American football teams are presenting the new kits that will take them through the 2018 season, one after another. And the one we’re showing you today may be one of the best seen so far among the Major League Soccer. Produced just like all others by adidas Football, this Atlanta United FC away jersey is an homage to the heritage of the town in Georgia, through one of the symbols that characterize the state: the peach.

In fact, Georgia is also known as The Peach State, of course for its massive production of peaches, especially in the colonial era. So, for this away jersey adidas wanted to bring the heritage of the city of Atlanta trough all the MLS. The team, even if just at its second year in the league, is already one of the most popular and thanks to its spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium has already smashed the last season attendance record.

The rapper 2-Chainz - other than 2000 supporters that attended the training sessions - assisted to the presentation of the new shit, that is mainly white. On the front part there are some grey-sh shades that recalls the design of a football and the spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof. All the details of the shirt, adidas’ Three Stripes and logo, the club’s crest, lettering and numbering, and the jersey sponsor, are all peach, a constant reminder of the city heritage.
