For the next season, the Three Stripes decided somehow to revolutionize the design of the official football for the European competition, still keeping the typical pattern that made thousands of Tifosi fall in love.

The new official Champions League ball will maintain its classic combination of hexagonal panels, that combined with each other create the so beloved starts that come on every European night. The true novelty of the 2018/19 ball is the coloration of the panel themselves that, unlike all the previous versions, foresees a change of positions. To be colored with blue, with shades that arrives in light blue, will be the hexagonal panels, while the “starts” of the adidas football will be white. That’s a first time, as it usually happened the opposite, with white panels and the stars that changed color every season.
