February 26th, 2018
You all know about the existence of the Nike LeBron 15 “Equality”, a model of Cleveland Cavaliers number 23’s signature shoe that celebrates the parity in a particular moment of the NBA regular season. First of all, it’s particularly for the Black History Month, a celebration that in the last decades indicate the month of February as the moment of the year to remember and hand down the conquests of the African-American community in the USA. But it’s also particular for the matter that shaw an American reporter telling LeBron James to “shut up and dribble” instead of making comments about society and politics.
Of course, LeBron James’s response was immediate, just like the one made by many influent people of the NBA community, like coach Pop. The Chosen One, though, will also spread his message of parity through his Nike LeBron 15 “Equality”, that are available right now through a special online draw on Nike website. 400 pairs of LBJ’s sneaker will be available, 200 black and 200 white. The peculiar thing is that through the draw people will be able to donate $10 to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, the largest US hub dedicated to Afro-American history and culture.
