adidas Basketball set to release four colorways for the Harden Vol.2

A few weeks ago, adidas Basketball presented the new version of the Beard’s signature shoe, the adidas Harden Vol.2. And the last news coming from sneakerheads websites is that four new colorways of Houston Rockets number 13’s sneakers are on their way, while he’s legitimately entering the MVP race for the regular season. The new colorway will be “Imma Be a Star”, “Traffic Jam”, “Pioneer” and “Concrete” and they all homage aspects of Harden’s life.

The new colorways, that will come for the hottest months of the NBA season, will represent an account of The Beard’s journey from being an high school prospect to a league superstar. The “Imma Be a Star” colorway is mainly black and gold and is referring to a piece of paper that Harden gave to his mother, promising her he was going to be a superstar. The white and black “Traffic Jam” version is a reference to Harden’s ability to pass through defenses to get to the basket. The “Pioneer” sneaker hat red and grey tones and it’s a reference to the colors that Harden wore at his high school. Finally, the “Concrete” is black and grey and is inspired by Harden’s early basketball days outside his childhood home.

The adidas Harden Vol.2 “Imme Be a Star” is already available at selected Three Stripes retailers. The “Traffic Jam” version will be available from March 1, the “Pioneer” from March 3, and the “Concrete” from the 10 of the same month. All the sneakers will be sold at $140.
