Nike will release March Madness-inspired Kobe AD, PG2, and Kyrie 4
Celebrating one of the most magical times of the American sports season
March 1st, 2018
For all the basketball lovers is time for one of the most special months of the year, one of the most magic in the world of basketball: March Madness. We’re talking about the final stage of the NCAA University College tournament that, even if right now is caught in some unpleasant investigations and affairs, it still one of the highest moments of American sport. To celebrate this unique moment of the year, Nike Basketball decided to release three of its main models - the Kobe AD, PG2, and Kyrie 4 - with special March Madness-inspired colorways.
The Nike Kobe AD, Black Mamba’s signature shoe, presents itself with an entirely black upper, with the exception of the iridescent Swoosh and the multicolored outsole, with shades of yellow, purple, blue and red. The Nike PG2, Paul George’s signature shoe, on the other hand, is almost entirely white, with black lateral swooshes and details, while the outsole recalls the changing tones of the Kobe, with yellow, blue, red, and black parts. The Nike Kyrie 4 is also white, but differently than the previous one, this has a blue iridescent swoosh. Irving’s sneakers also have a multicolored outsole, that has the same tones of the other two, following the wavy design of the previous versions.
