Last week, I’ve talked with you about how the NBA basketball has become “fashion”. And even if we're not in the playoff yet, some players are already giving their best. We talked about how the regulations for the dress code changed in the past while nowadays the cameras let us see everything that happens in the arena. I once saw Andre Miller, that got me with his style, all over-sized and with hip-hop inspiration all over the outfit.
The Good
Let’s start with “THE GUCCI MAAAN”, a nickname that the teammates gave to him because you should know that Gucci and Serge Ibaka are a unique thing. And then, we love to have an athlete like I-block-a at this game. An appeal to Jordan Clarkson: “Can I have your Kyries?”. Draymond Green goes back to high school, thanks to his beautiful Varsity jacket combined with Off-White AJ1. On the border, there’s Ben Simmons with his Atmos x Nike Air Max 95 "Animal Pack 2.0” with Givenchy backpack and Louis Vuitton bag.
The Bad
Now is DeMarre Carroll turn. Scenic pause for his arrival. Scenic pause for his garments. Scenic pause for his style. Well: “Scenic Pause”. About “Sr Swag Daddy” there are rumors about the time he takes to chose the sneakers every time he leaves the locker room. In this case, he only has 3 necklaces and no socks at all. As you can see, he really loves the Dolce & Gabbana brand and all the “made in Italy” fashion, but we only want to ask him about his fanny pack. An $820 fanny pack. Also a great Tim Frazier with a sneaker-skin jacket.
The Ugly
Andre Iguodala with his double coat… Iggy, Iggy, IGGY! Come on! I get that Minneapolis is freezing, but.. come on! JR Smith’s ‘dad goal’ then. We also love Supreme New York, but there have to be boundaries. But you’re right, JR never had boundaries. There are several opinions about Carmelo Anthony’s outfit. I think it rocks, but my mother and my girl say it’s a NO. What do you think?
