Avengers: Infinity War football jerseys
The Marvel Studios teamed up with LaunchBox for a football-inspired collection of superhero shirts
March 29th, 2018
On April 27, Marvel will launch its new blockbuster superhero-inspired movie, Avengers: Infinity War. As usual for the company owned by Disney, the movie has been heavily promoted, with the classic jaw-dropping trailers and every kind of promotional campaign you can imagine. For this last work from the Marvel Studios, though, there’s also a new kind of publicity: football. Teaming up with BoxLunch - that also took care of Stranger Things 2 merchandise - a collection of four football jerseys has been launched and we can only approve that (and want everything).
The four selected superheroes have been Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, and Spiderman. The kit for T’Challa is black - of course - and has three logos on the chest: one is Avengers’, one is the symbol with Black Panther elm, and the third is some sort of football crest inspired by the movie character. The best shirt may be Captain America’s one, that recalls some kits actually used by the USA national team. White and blue, with red stripes on the chest, the shirt has Captain America’s logo and the football-ish crest that actually looks like the USMNT one. Honestly, Iron Man’s kit just looks like Galatasaray’s ones, with dark red and yellow. This will also have the three logos on the chest, with the addition of the “Stark Industry” jersey sponsor. Spiderman black and red shirt are also very nice, with golden details that recall the kits used by Atlanta United.
