Bayern Munich is ready to renew the Allianz Arena After Monaco 1860 moved out, the Bavarians' stadium will reflect the identity of the club

Not even 13 years have passed since its inauguration and it is already time to renew the Allianz Arena. Since last summer the Bavarian stadium belongs entirely to Bayern Monaco, because of the relegation of the 'cousins' of Monaco 1860, that in the meantime came back to play into the old Grunwalder Stadion. For this reason, the board of the club, in harmony with the team of architects Herzog & de Meuron, starting from last November, decided to plan some significant changes, personalizing the Allianz Arena to finally 'feel at home', legitimizing the fact to be the only owners after 12 years of sharing.

The redesign project that will lead to an Allianz Arena 2.0 mainly concerns the seats of the stadium, which will finally recall the social colours: in one of the two stands will appear a large club crest, while in the two stands will be formed respectively the words 'FC Bayern München' and 'Mia San Mia', the historic Bavarian motto. Therefore, in order to create, a design effect similar to that of 'Mes que un club' at the Camp Nou.

This change of look will start from next May and will also closely involve the fans: a part of the many Bayern's ticket holders will have the opportunity to buy the used seats that will be removed (about 25,000) and replaced with the new ones. So, with only 20 Euros, will be given the opportunity to buy a really unique gadget, half of the proceeds will go to a charity association connected to the club.
