adidas launches 2018 World Cup mash up jerseys
Argentina, Colombia, Germany and USSR blend their home and away shirts
April 13th, 2018
After launching the match jerseys of nine of the ten teams that sponsor in the next World Cup (Germany, Spain, Argentina, Belgium, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, Japan and Sweden, and only Morocco is missing as we explained here), and the beautiful retro shirts, adidas Originals' latest ad is about the 'mash-up' collection: an unpublished mix between the nostalgic mood and the pure desire to combine colors and patterns from the past that stakes becoming a must-have for the most stylish collectors.
At the moment only four shirts were showed off, the result of a real combination of famous home and away uniforms: those of Argentina with which Copa America won in 1993, half albiceleste and half blue; that of Colombia worn by Valderrama in 1990 with the detail of the numbers upside down; the contemporary one of Germany, world champion, with a clear presence of the green color and finally an authentic experiment on the uniform of the USSR of 1992, with the number on the side and the Soviet Union coat of arms on the chest.
