Louis Vuitton unveiled the 2018 FIFA World Cup collection
Other than a series of items, it will feature the official trophy travel case and a series of adidas match balls

As we are approaching the kickoff of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, with the first match scheduled for June 14 with the game between the hosting team and Saudi Arabia. So, the presentations of the collections dedicated to the tournament continue, and this is one reserved just for the true aesthete of the Beautiful Game. In fact, Louis Vuitton decided to celebrate the World Cup with three unique projects, worth of the French ‘Maison’.
The first one is the most exclusive you can imagine, as it’s the official travel case for the 2018 FIFA World Cup trophy. Design for carrying and protect the most important cup in the world, this case is wrapped in titanium and laser-engraved with a Monogram design. The 2018 FIFA World Cup travel case is part of a long series of accessories made by Louis Vuitton and it will be presented during the first game of the tournament, other than the final on July 15.
The second item is a proper gem for all the official match balls enthusiasts, as Louis Vuitton presented the official collector trunk of the FIFA World Cup match balls. Realized in collaboration with adidas, the trunk is inspired by the iconic travel wardrobe made by the ‘Maison’ and features 13 official replicas of the original match balls used in the editions of the World Cup, from the first Telstar used in 1970 to the one that will be used this summer in Russia. It will also feature the Louis Vuitton football, that will be also sold separately.
Finally, Louis Vuitton presented a proper World Cup collection that features exclusive versions of the Keepall travel bag - customizable with more than 250 color combinations - Apollo backpacks, two wallets, a purse, and travel tags. It will be available with three different colorways, red/white, blue/white, and white/black and it will feature the official logo of the 2018 World Cup, other than the “L.V.” initials.
