After the Supreme x NBA collabs, J.R Smith is back on the streetwear spotlight through his legendary Instagram account @teamswish. Yesterday a few hours before the victory in race 4 against the Celtics, the Cleveland Cavs' guard caught the attention of sneakerheads around the world by posting on Instagram four photos of an unreleased Off-White sneaker.
JR showed off a fresh pair of never seen before, beside on feet of Virgil himself and around Instagram, we are talking about the Off-White x Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknits. The shoe is an interesting mix of the between the running shoe Zoom Fly and Mercurial football boot, the silhouette’s black upper features oversized polka dots on the key strike zones, as seen on the Off-White x Nike Mercurial Vapor 360. On the midsole, we see the “FOAM” print, a call to its REACT cushioning technology, and rainbow-print stripe circles the shoe rounds out this mysterious sneakers mashup.
The shoe should be included in the Off-White x Nike capsule collection dedicated to the World Cup, it is scheduled for June 2018.
