It has been less than one month since Versace presented its first football jersey, probably the most expensive ever realized. And now, as part of the 2018 F/W collection, the Italian brand has presented a second jersey, once again following the path taken by other big names of the fashion system, like Virgil Abloh and Gosha Rubchinskiy.
The new jersey has a black and grey vertical-striped design, with red and gold details. In the front part, there is the golden Versace ‘jersey sponsor’, alongside with the brand’s logo as the crest and a Baroque graphics like the one seen on the first shirt. The vertical black and gray stripes are interrupted by two red stripes on the sides, and also one on the necklace. In the back, there’s a reference to the Italian brand’s headquarters, placed in “Via Gesù, 12”. On Versace Instagram profile we also spotted a female version of the jersey, with black and pink stripes and gold details.
The Versace football jersey has even got to beat the other shirt’s record, being sold for $827. It’s available for purchase on Farfetch’s website.
