We’re in the heart of the 2018 NBA Finals that, as always, create hype all around the world. This year, though, there has been some complaining about the umpteenth clash between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers, that have reached their fourth final in a row. Nevertheless, the numbers regarding the tickets selling have an opposing trend to this feeling. Even with the repetitive meeting between the two franchises, the figures reached during the sale of the tickets confirm that the NBA has an audience that is eager to take the desired ticket to the Oracle Arena and “The Q”.
According to TicketCity, the world’s largest privately held ticketing company, the average price for a ticket in the two games played in the bay is $1,727, while a ticket for the games at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland averagely costs $689. The cheapest ticket of all? The one for Game 3, Section 202, Row 17, that comes with an affordable $328.
But as you know, the US is full of people with huge economic possibilities, even if this time they may have also googled their eyes looking at the prices reached by courtside tickets. To a privileged seat at Game 1, row AA, the fans had to pay out $62,955, amazingly exceeded by the same seat for Game 2: $76,956. These seats for the games in Cleveland are way more cheaper: $27,495 and $16,253.
