For the next three years, Thom Browne will be the official off-field wardrobe of Barcelona’s players — including Lionel Messi — worn at away games in both the Champions League and La Liga.

The agreement between the club and the brand is part of the ongoing trend that sees high fashion brands signing contracts with football clubs. The DSquared2 brothers put Manchester City in bomber jackets and trim trousers, while Giorgio Armani has dressed Bayern Munich's players for the last few years in slim navy suits, Juventus is dressed by Trussardi. We have to wait and see just how Browne dresses FC Barcelona's players for off-the-pitch activities, but if LeBron & Co. were any indication, it will definitely be worth the wait.
