How cool is Everton new away kit?
The Liverpool-based club and Umbro always produce gems, just like this one
July 20th, 2018
It's been almost three months since we were talking about the new Everton home jersey for next season, which was worn for the last Premier League match against Southampton. Now, and it's the first time ever for an English club, the new away shirt was presented by the Ladies team, who will also be the first ever to wear them, next July 22 in the occasion of the friendly against Liverpool. As the continuation of the city's celebratory campaign and the spirit of the club called 'Go on', the absolute stars were Chloe Kelly, Megan Finnigan, Danielle Turner and Kirsty Levell, and also an MMA fighter like Molly 'Meatball' McCann.
As well as the home kit, the new jersey created by Umbro have a double structure, both in fabric and in color: the central body is in Carbon grey while the sleeves, which are shinier, are entirely black. But the color that stands out most of all is another, strongly desired by the fans who have collaborated in the final choice: the Umbro logo, the club badge, the stylized St. Rupert tower under the collar in the back, both sponsors (the predominant one, Sportpesa, and the one on the left sleeve, Angry Birds) but above all the detail on the ends of the sleeves (an old fantasy that Umbro wanted to bring back on the shirts from this season) in fact are in pink.
