The strange Galatasaray's 18-19 third kit
Masterpiece or trash?
September 17th, 2018
Fatih Terim's Galatasaray is back in Champions League after two years and is the last club sponsored by Nike to present its third kit for the 2018/2019 season.
As for the other teams (AS Roma, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona), the Beaverton's brand has worked hard on the geography and the map of the cities to which it belongs to produce the third shirt for this season. The result, this time, is strange: it could look like a trash shirt or one of the best of this season.
Compared to the other jerseys, this is less chaotic and more characteristic, presenting a jersey dyed white - like the purity of Istanbul - and divided in half by a large orange strip that represents the Bosporus strait, which presents in this case the area of the city of Istanbul, halved between the Asian area of the metropolis and the European one where the Ottoman club resides. The line, moreover, is separated by a peculiar lightning bolt which, in fact, divides the strait into two. The jersey obviously represents the geographical situation of the city.
