The book with the graphic history of the Serie A clubs
It's called Football Crest Index and after the edition on the Premier is raising funds for the Serie A
September 21st, 2018
There is a very interesting editorial project we already reported on about a year ago that is called Football Crest Index: an independent collective headed by James Kirkup who had launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter in order to be able to raise a sufficient amount of money to publish a book about the history of the logos of 47 English teams, not only of the Premier League. Well, after having successfully achieved the goal to print the book, now they are trying again with Vol. 2, which this time is focused on the crests of 34 Italian clubs, and contains also a series of very beautiful and well-cared graphics and illustrations. Why did they choose Italian Serie A? It was decided by a poll conducted via Twitter, according to which 39% of the followers has indicated as a preference the desire to know something more about the Italian logos.
The financing process has already started and it's 'all or nothing': there are still almost two months to contribute to the success of this virtual financing, and to reach the total amount of about 33k Euros. By participating in the crowfunding with a minimum pledge of 5 pounds (around 6 euros), your name will be included in the Official Printed Supporters list within the volume. A greater support in the fundraising, economic-wise, will instead guarantee a copy of the book, just in time to put it under your Christmas tree, next December. For any further information we recommend you to visit the official site of the project, which hopefully will go through.
