This week we have closely followed the PSG, not only in the field but also on the catwalks. Yes, because now Paris Saint-Germain is no longer just a football team but a real brand. We talked about the collaboration between the Parisian team and Jordan, which has the right football but that instead was a real thermonuclear bomb on the marketing plan of both brands.
But I think now that is getting out of control to everyone.
At the Paris Fashion Week a capsule collection of the collaboration between the Indian designer Manish Arora and the PSG was showed. Fluo colors, the faces of Mbappe, Verratti, Thiago Silva, Cavani and Neymar that stand out on many pieces of the collection as well as the club logo.
We are aware that you have to strike while is hot but you have to be careful. In the world of TV series there is a way of saying to define when a series "exaggerates", when due to a weak script, the shot is sought to keep it "alive", this expression is "jump the shark". Here we believe that the shark has been abundantly skipped and that between making a cool thing and making a ugly thing the thread is quite thin.
