Mesut Özil has opened a Twitch account
Well done, Mesut!
October 11th, 2018
We are living in a period so conditioned by technology that keep up with the times is a must for each of us: for this reason is it not strange to think that football players, often considered unapproachable characters, can always get in contact with their fans. First of all came Facebook, followed by Twitter, and then Instagram...until Twitch! The world of video games and especially that of eSports is now conquering everyone, and the last protagonist of this curious flow is Mesut Özil. The German player of Arsenal today announced with a tweet the opening of his new Twitch channel, for which he unveiled upcoming activities, probably "streaming games to video games" of FIFA 19 and Fortnite, the battle royale phenomenon that for months everyone liked.
Thanks @Twitch for setting up my account today. Make sure to follow me on Twitch https://t.co/iSegZVEr3N First streams coming soon - stay tuned #M1Ö pic.twitter.com/rRRydQHOSK

The popular streaming platform linked to Amazon is increasingly growing, and Özil is just the last of the players we can call streamer. The first to dabble in this new eSports craze were Antoine Griezmann, Dele Alli and Cesc Fabregas, all caught up fighting with Fortnite: the French striker, as we know, is usual to enjoy every goal with a celebration comes from the popular videogame, the "Take The L" celebration. Wonder if Özil will answer in the same way on the pitch as well as in front of the camera. Expect surprises!
