Umbro launched first laceless and leather shoes

Shoes without laces are not brand new, as well as those 100% made of leather, of course. The Medusae 3 Elite instead yes, because for the first time enclose both features in a single boot. They are created by Umbro, and also managed to perfectly combine tradition and innovation while maintaining the sober style that has always accompanied him. Moreover offering something more, that is a record lightness: the last model of the Double Diamond weighs in fact only 170 grams.

What else to know about the new Medusae 3 Elite? Well, they are available in three colourway (black, white and marine green) and are made of a one-piece leather upper, thus giving up seams that can sacrifice the wearer's comfort. Umbro also said that they worked over two years on this project, asking directly to professional players for some feedback on the fit and structure of the shoe. The first testimonials were the Portuguese Pepe and the Peruvian Edison Flores, but also the American Ashlyn Harris, goalkeeper of the US National Women.

Unfortunately, Umbro decided to launch them on October 19 in limited edition (only 24 pairs per country, in honor of the foundation of the British brand, 1924), while the free sale will begin only in 2019.
