October 23rd, 2018
BAPE is experiencing a golden moment, full of new projects and collections, as if its twenty-fifth anniversary had awakened its creative side. Among the many collaborations launched in recent weeks, there is a very special arrival with adidas. Together the two brands launch the Snowboarding Collection, a small but interesting selection of clothing and sneakers, featuring camouflage graphics and Xeno reflective material, an iridescent fabric used for stripes, panels and logos.
The first piece to be presented was the BAPE x adidas Skateboarding 3ST.002, a sneaker without laces, with upper in nubuck and a slip-on construction sockfit. In a wardrobe designed for winter sports you cannot miss a snow jacket that, for the occasion, has a 10k/10k waterproof fabric, contrasting an Aurora LINE 1ST CAMO print lower panel with a blacked-out upper torso. What has always been one of A Bathing Ape's most iconic pieces? Obviously the hoodie, this time made of Climalite fabric with a a durable water-repellent coating, offers lightweight insulation and sweat-wicking benefits. The capsule is completed by the BAPE Slopetrotter Pant equipped with a5k/5k breathable shell construction while an elastic waistband with adjustable webbing belt ensures a comfortable fit. Are you ready for snowbord season? All you need is the right clothing adidas by BAPE, in stores since 3 November.
