Things are about to change in the Eastern Conference
November 13th, 2018
I'm always very reluctant to write about NBA from October to December, simply because I do not trust it. Everything can change in a moment, for example with a trade, an exit from the initial rotations for thousand thousand reasons.
Yesterday night, for example, a news has come that has totally changed the things in the east, Jimmy Butler has left Minnesota to settle for the Philadelphia 76ers while the Timberwolves acquire Dario Saric, Robert Covington and Jerryd Bayless and a second choice in the Draft 2020. Surprise brings Philadelphia the third All-Star after Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons making the 76ers one of the favorites to take the place of Cleveland Cavaliers for supremacy in the Eastern Conference. The 76ers managed to convince Butler thanks to a long-term and very substantial contract for next summer and the work of the two owners, Josh Harris (Phila) and Glen Taylor (Minnesota).
Now we just have to wait and see how good Jimmy will be able to integrate himself with his new playmates.
Stay tuned!
