The new silver Mercurial that pay homage to Modric and Mbappé

Since 2010 both Nike and adidas have designed the most decorated and limited shoes to honor Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi after their Ballon d'Or wins. This year was a little different for Nike, with both Modric and Mbappé in the running. The brand had created a special edition of Mercurial, ready to drop as the announcement was made. Modric won the most prestigious prize and Mbappè the Kopa Trophy, for the best U21 player, so Nike decided to release both shoes, a Mercurial Superfly VI Elite, and a Mercurial Vapor XII, both titled "Golden Touch Mercurial 360".

The two models are pure platinum monochromatic, with a thumb print design that covers the entire upper, with an interesting contrast between the shiny silver colorway and the black swoosh. On the heel is printed the Mercurial 'M', which in this case could stand for Modric and Mbappé. The shoes were released this morning in very few numbers of pairs, only 1500, so be fast, you could still be on time.
