VfB Stuttgart 125th anniversary kit
Inspired to the old shirts of the German club and designed by PUMA
December 12th, 2018
As already happened on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the club's foundation, VfB Stuttgart and its official supplier, PUMA football, decided to celebrate the 125th birthday of the historic German team creating a special jersey inspired by those worn in the glorious years of the past and precisely in 1925. Simple and in the same time so characteristic: the shirt is white with a red ring at chest level, the sponsors (PUMA, Mercedes Benz and Gazi) are practically invisible and in the front there is only the club crest, in vintage version. The lace collar is also very typical and looks good.

The campaign testimonials were French world champion Benjamin Pavard with Mario Gomez and Christian Gentner. However, the jersey will not be available to everyone, given that Stuttgart has decided to reward the loyalty of members and season ticketholders who will have the opportunity to buy the particular kit (contained in a special box) in advance and the chance that some shirts will go on free sale is rather remote. The only partial consolation is to see it worn by the players, on the occasion of the last match of 2018 that Stuttgart will play against Schalke 04, next December 22nd.
