Nike unveils the NikeCourt Vapor X Kyrie 5 A hybrid between basketball and tennis

Nike is going to release a sneaker that will be a hybrid between basketball and tennis.
Dubbed the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor X “Kyrie 5”, the collaboration pays tribute to the two Australian athletes: NBA player, Kyrie Irving (born in Melbourne, Australia) and tennis player, Nick Kyrgios, great basketball fan.

The hybrid sneaker features a white, low-cut version of the Kyrie 5‘s knitted uppers paired with the Vapor X’s distinct outsole. The overlapping of the laces is inspired by the carnivorous plant belonging to the Droseraceae family, the Dionea or Venus flytrap. It seems that when Darwin saw it he called "the most spectacular plant in the world".

Priced at $160 USD, the NikeCourt Zoom Vapor X “Kyrie 5” will be available on 14 January on nike.com.
