Five football match to watch this weekend
Two great Serie A matches, Balotelli, the FA Cup and the Dutch de Klassieker
January 25th, 2019
The last days of the winter market window make the next football weekend even more attractive: how many of you already want to watch new signings at work? That's why during the next weekend we'll be even more eagers for football: the Premier League takes a rest turn in favor of the FA Cup, and we'll get a reason. Because of the cold weather of the last days, absolutely forbidden to put the nose out of the house on Friday night, also for the rich sports schedule.
Olympique de Marseille - Lille
when: Friday 25/1 at 8:45pm
where: Velodrome/DAZN
Among the hottest transfers of this market period is definitely Balotelli to OM: Mario does not play for a while and is definitely not 100% ready to play but was still called up for the first Ligue 1 match of the week between the bad Marseille of the recent months and the surprising Galtier's Lille. What better opportunity to watch a match of the French league, hoping that Balotelli can at least debut and maybe immediately show his talent to his new teammates?
Arsenal - Manchester United
when: Friday 25/1 at 8:55pm
where: Emirates Stadium/DAZN
One of the greatest thing about the FA Cup is that among the fourth round matches there are Doncaster-Oldham and Arsenal-Manchester United at the same time. The match between Gunners and Red Devils is undoubtedly the top match of the English weekend, and there is no need to explain why: Arsenal has so much ambitions in the cup and hopes to triumph at Wembley, but United with Solskjaer is a totally different team and it comes from seven consecutive wins. Last December ended 2-2, we expect a lot of goals (and maybe some youngsters into the field) again this time.
AC Milan - Napoli
when: Saturday 26/1 at 8:30pm
where: San Siro/DAZN
It could be Higuain against his past and instead the Pipita flew to England just in time, and so in the Rossoneri attack duo there will be Cutrone and the new striker, Piatek. But the clash is a continuous crossover of stories and former players, like that of Ancelotti who returns to San Siro in front of his attendance and Reina who will face his old teammates. Insigne, Koulibaly, Hamsik are back in Napoli's squad, but there is still not sure if also Allan will return, between a back injury and the rumors of a supposed goodbye from Italy.
Feyenoord - Ajax
when: Sunday 27/1 at 2:30pm
where: De Kuip
Unfortunately this year neither Sky Sports and DAZN broadcast the Eredivisie, and it's a shame to miss the last games at the Ajax of de Ligt and de Jong but especially one of the coolest matches in Europe like the de Klassieker, Feyenoord against Ajax. The hosts are definitely far away from the top of the standings and play mainly for the pride, while the guests are in full struggle for the title, detached two points from PSV. For nostalgics: there will be Van Persie in the field.
Atalanta - AS Roma
when: Sunday 27/1 at 3pm
where: Atleti Azzurri d'Italia/Sky Sport
What was once a custom and now has turned into an exception: find a good game on Sunday at 15. This time we are lucky because after lunch we can enjoy a juicy match like Atalanta vs AS Roma, two teams clearly rising after a league start with problems. Headlights without a doubt on Zapata and Zaniolo, both in a wonderful moment, but also eye to the dangerous Atalanta's defenders and to Dzeko, that has not scored for months.
