The signature shoes are a habit in football, the brands create customized models for the players, dedicating collections and modifying the design of great classics like the latest Copa Mundial made for Paulo Dybala. New Balance, Liverpool's main sponsor, has decided to create a model for a symbol of the English club, but not for a Reds player, but the manager Jürgen Klopp. The new NB1 x Jurgen Klopp 990V3 stems from a model made by the German coach on the New Balance NB1 customization platform, during an event to which he was invited by the Boston brand. Klopp had chosen a classic model, the 990V3, with an entirely red upper and the sole as well as the laces in white.
Jürgen Klopp is famous for being an unstoppable coach on the bench, part of the group of managers who prefer to wear jumpsuit and sneakers, rather than suit and leather shoes. Comfort in this sense is important and although the coach has declared not to take care of his look, it has undoubtedly become a model of a practical and comfortable style, just like the 990V3. In addition to the silver details on the tongue and the heel, and the famous N on both sides of the shoe, Klopp's true signature on the shoe are the initials of Liverpool's historic motto, YNWA, "You'll Never Walk Alone". You will never walk alone, just what New Balance seems to say to the manager, who in the meantime has already worn his customized sneakers during the last home game of the Reds against Leicester.
