The new FIFA Ultimate Team jerseys
4 kit inspired by the major European championship and realized by an Italian-Argentine graphic designer
February 8th, 2019
The Italo-Argentine graphic designer Emilio Sansolini has designed, in collaboration with EA Sports, 4 special kits for the most famous football videogame in the world, FIFA. The Ultimate Team mode is the most played in FIFA since it was created in 2009, and every year continues to improve thanks to updates from the Electonic Arts. This feature allows you to play online with millions of users, buy players, shoes, customize stadiums and get credits even through some custom uniforms, such as those inspired by the design of the main European leagues. The colors and symbols of the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, and UEFA Champions League inspire these concepts, made for both players and goalkeepers. Emilio Sansolini, who had already collaborated in the past with the videogame, has also produced other very interesting jerseys, which are available on FIFA19. We invite you to visit his Instagram profile, where he publishes illustrations, infographics, and tributes to the truly unique players.
UEFA Champions League
The kit used for the players has as its characteristic element the typical star pattern of the tournament. It is made both in white and blue, and in two different shades of blue, with the starry logo that also appears on the socks and on the shoulders. The third kit, for goalkeepers, has decidedly more bright colors, in yellow and green.
Premier League
A jersey with the colors of Joker. The uniform is green with the form of the purple lion that matches with the shorts, while the socks, inside which is placed the crest of the Premier League, resume the color of the shirt, while on the left chest is positioned the crest of FUT19 . The player chosen to fill the back of the shirt is Eden Hazard.
La Liga
Sansolini chooses Messi to design the shirt of the Spanish league. The tones are those of black, with red colored detail on the neck and at the end of the shirts. As a background, the shape of La Liga logo (also placed in white at the center of the jersey), modified to form a series of concentric circles. The goalkeeper kit is entirely yellow, with long sleeves, black borders and the black symbol on the chest.
Bundesliga
The Bundesliga shirt is white with a red vertical band in the middle, similar to the Ajax model, while the shorts, as well as the socks, are red. In the middle of the chest the silhouette of the football player, symbol of the German championship, is broken into 3 parts. The goalie shirt, always with long sleeves, is in two shades of gray, one light and one dark. The player chosen in this case is Marco Reus.
