PUMA became NBA Official Marketing Partner
An important announcement, on the eve of the Charlotte All-Star Weekend

PUMA is overpowering re-launching on the world's biggest sports stages. In football, many teams and players in recent months have announced the collaboration with the German brand, last in order of time the goalkeeper of Atletico Madrid, Jan Oblak.
In recent days, however, PUMA has formalized the commercial partnership with the NBA, a relaunch, after having played an important part in the early footwear culture of the NBA. As Puma expands its presence in the basketball market with new player relationships and a new line of basketball sneakers, becoming an official footwear partner of the league was a natural next step to help amplify the brand's return to the category, as Dan Rossomondo, NBA senior vice president of media and Business Development said. A world so far dominated by Nike, the official sponsor of the championship that is preparing to live the hottest period of the season, the All-Star Weekend.
PUMA has announced that it has signed a multiyear partnership with the league as an official marketing partner with a funny tweet.

For this occasion was presented the second basketball sneaker, the Uproar Charlotte, a shoe that pays tribute to Charlotte's basketball roots, combined with cutting-edge technology achieved by footwear. In October, however, the Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier presented the Clyde Court Disrupt. The feeling is that it is only the beginning of a long year of release for the basketball shoes for the brand founded by Rudolf Dassler.
It is not to be expected that Nike's hegemony will be scaled back, but many players only in the last year are switching to the PUMA family. These include DeAndre Ayton, Marvin Bagley III, Zhaire Smith, Michael Porter Jr. and the center of the Golden State Warriors DeMarcus Cousins.
