Just the time to digest the European matches and here are the European leagues to keep us company: they starts Friday night and will continue until Sunday, and we will try not to miss even one goal, as always. Between a clash and another, in England there is also the first seasonal trophy to assign.
Verona - Salernitana

One of the most heartfelt rivalries of the whole Italian scenario is that between Hellas and Salernitana, which more than being simple opponents really hate each other: the Granata team won 1-0 in the first leg and now the Gialloblu will try to reply at home. In addition to throwing an eye to the game itself (the two teams still gravitate in the left side of the table) we expect especially many teasing and provocations from the supporters.
Sevilla - Barcelona

The FC Barcelona's terrible cycle of five consecutive away games, started in Bilbao and continued with the trip to Lyon, will now stop at Sanchez Pizjuan, where are based the dangerous Sevilla of Machin. United will face a real crossroads: beating Liverpool would guarantee the 'cousins' of the City to take advantage of the title race, but for the Solskjaer's boys it's not appropriate to make too many calculations about who to favor. Fourteen points divide the two teams, but the clash will be totally open.
Borussia Dortmund - Bayer Leverkusen

After having also had nine points of advantage on the chaser, on Sunday Borussia Dortmund could be second in the ranking before the match against Bayer, as Bayern will play on Saturday. So to deny everyone that there is no psychodrama going on (3-3 against Hoffenheim and 0-3 at Tottenham in a week) the Gialloneri are called to a great performance, with the imperative to win. But Leverkusen is a completely unpredictable team.
Chelsea - Manchester City

Two weeks after the humiliating 6-0 suffered in Manchester, for Chelsea it's again time to play against the Guardiola's Man. City: the match is scheduled in the neutral field and the award is the conquest of the Carabao Cup, the old English League Cup. Maurizio Sarri does not have many options to save his job: if he does not win he will be sacked. City, on the other hand, lives a different period, much more positive: Guardiola is still racing in four competitions and could already close the first practice of the season.
