Almost a year after winning the World Cup, the French players continue with the celebrations: having gathered in Clairefontaine in view of the first Euro 2020 qualifying matches, Paul Pogba (with the collaboration of Antoine Griezmann) gave a gold ring, with diamonds and sapphires (complete with a cockerel and with the colors of the French flag) to his teammates: such a striking tribute that the news immediately went around the world. As admitted by Pogba himself, the habit of giving away something special was already born during the winning period at Juventus and this was simply a small gesture.

The two World Champions were inspired by the US sports' customs, that is to to reward the titles' winners with big shiny and personalized rings, as already happens in NBA and MLB, relying for the occasion on a famous Californian jewelery. The price? According to ESPN, something like $ 13,500 for each one.
