The Sampdoria jersey is something untouchable for the supporters, among collectors and enthusiasts it's instead defined as one of the most beautiful ever in football history.
Even if the rivals of Genoa think to look more like a cycling kit, the fact is that the blue, white, red and black jersey is considered one of the most beautiful shirts of The Beautiful Game, due to a design that has remained intact over 73 years.
COPA, a Dutch brand founded in 1998, has celebrated the Samp jersey with a retro collection, inspired by 4 unforgettable seasons like the '56/'57, '75/'76, '81/'82, '91/'92.
The celebratory shirts are a true trademark of COPA, the "Classic Line", which pays homage to the most memorable international clubs, includes more than 250 historical shirts, among which those dedicated to AS Roma, SS Napoli, FC Inter Milan and Juventus.
The first jersey presented by COPA is that of the 56/57 season, a vintage also honored by a replica cotton sweatshirt with the name of the embroidered club and the three-colored band on the collar. The home shirt for the 75/76 season, the most basic in design, is joined by the home 81/82, the year of the second promotion in Serie A.
The 91/92 season, that of the historic Champions League final lost against Barcelona and the of the Vialli-Mancini goal-twins was honored with both the Home and Away kits. On the chest appears the Scudetto, won the previous year, above which the celebratory inscription of the unfortunate Wembley game is embroidered.
To complete the collection also the "My First Sampdoria Shirt", designed for new born.
