Kappa releases the 'Kappa Kalcio' collection
A mixture of football and streetwear
April 2nd, 2019
Kappa has dressed the biggest European football clubs between the 80s and the 00s becoming an icon of sport for excellence in Italy and beyond. Today it continues to be a reference point thanks to the development of material technology and a strong focus on street and non-street trends.
Today that heritage is intertwined with streetwear thanks to the launch of the "Kappa Kalcio" capsule collection: track jackets and pants, shorts and tees but also bags and shin guard characterized by oversized logos in fluorescent colors.
Lorenzo Boglione, Vice President of BasicNet Sales (a publicly traded company that owns the Kappa brand) said:
“Soccer has been an integral part of Kappa’s history, and also its current success. We are excited to globally launch the Kappa Kalcio collection, which helps us continue to push forward. We will use this capsule as a tool to reimagine performance product while making something that is just as comfortable and stylish off the pitch.”
The capsule is on sale at the Sneakersnstuff physical stores in New York, Los Angeles, Stockholm, London, Paris and Berlin and online on the Kappa website. Prices range from $ 22 to $ 109.
