Giannis Antetokounmpo has signed his first signature with Nike

During the past week, the NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo has formalized and presented his first signature with Nike, revealing the Air Zoom Freak 1.
The MVP of the last NBA season is the first European athlete to whom Nike dedicates a line of shoes and apparel. For the occasion, Giannis' need was to have a graphic identity that represented him 360°, so that his logo includes elements like family, his Nigerian origins, his country - Greece, the number 34 and the city that welcomed him Milwaukee.
The Nike Air Zoom Freak 1 is a nostalgic model, inspired by the Nike Kobe silhouette that Giannis used as a child, modified with improved performance to meet the gaming needs of the Bucks star.
Upper part is reticulated and resistant, enriched with plastic details and padding for greater comfort and support during the game. Unit sole is equipped with two Zoom Air units positioned in the heel area for extra cushioning. The design is completed by details such as the logos of the signature and the phrase "I AM FATHER'S LEGACY" placed under the sole that pays tribute to Antetokounmpo's relationship with his family, while the geometric designs in the shape of a rose are a tribute to his deceased father.
The Nike Air Zoom Freak 1, in the color scheme of orange, black/white and white, and the apparel dedicated to Giannis Antetokounmpo is already available online at Nike and at selected stores.
