#nsstaste - How much do beer and würstel cost in Bundesliga stadiums?
It is not cheap to eat and drink during Bayern Munich matches
August 8th, 2019
The Bundesliga season will begin on August 16th, with the match between Bayern Munich and the Hertha Berlin, we are sure that even this season we will see full and delirious stadiums, which have always created a unique atmosphere compared to other European leagues.
If you happen to be attending a Bundesliga match, the experience must also be completed with a good beer and something to eat. If you are in Germany that "something" is called Bratwurst or Currywurst, maybe with sauerkraut and mustard.
On Reddit, we found the official price list of every German stadium, for a half-liter menu of Bier (you weren't thinking of a 33cl? aren't you?) And a wurst. We have found that the worst stadium in which to anger is precisely that of the Bayern Munich, funny considering that the club president Uli Hoeneß is the owner of HoWe, a Würstel factory.
If the price for a sausage change from €2 from the matches of the Union Berlin to those of Bayern, the beer issue is taken much more seriously and the difference between the more expensive stadium (always Bayern) and the cheaper one (Borussia Dortmund ) ranges by only 50 cents.
The beer question is taken seriously, in Gelsenkirchen for example, during the Schalke 04 games the total price is € 7.10 and you won't have to go too far to fulfill, thanks to the 5 km of tubes that carry beer from the city up in all the kiosks of the Veltins-Arena.
The Signal Induna Park, with an average of 80 thousand spectators, is the stadium with the most appearances in Germany. With a quick calculation, if everyone consumed the complete menu in the 17 home games, the gain at the end of the year would be around 9 million euros. Cheers.
