LVMH may be be interested in buying AC Milan
From the French fashion company, a billion euros to buy the Rossoneri club: fake news or scoop?
September 16th, 2019
The future of AC Milan could be French: according to the Italian newspaper Il Messaggero, the transalpine entrepreneur Bernard Arnault, CEO of the Lvmh-Louis Vuitton group and the recently acclaimed third richest man in the world, according to Forbes (after Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates) , may indeed be interested in taking over the Milan based club.
To conclude the purchase, which would involve the Elliott fund, Arnault would be willing to shell out a figure even higher than one billion euros, even if for the moment the multinational (which controls something like 70 different brands like Bulgari, Dior, Givenchy and Fendi) has immediately officially denied the negotiation. The suggestion, however, given the current corporate situation of AC Milan and the economic availability of the 70-year-old French magnate, is certainly possible.
