Almost 14 million followers on Instagram, from 2017 Nike's top athlete in the NFL and wide receiver with the Cleveland Browns but above all one of America's most talked-about sportsman for the style of his outfits. Among a selfie with Dani Alves, Beyoncè, Mohamed Salah, Drake, James Harden and David Alaba, and pics of his new blond hair, it's easy to come across Odell Beckham Jr on social networks, especially in the sneakers' and cleats' scene. Made through the collaboration with Nike, during the last year he has worn so many different models (practically one for every NFL match), that we need to stop for a moment and try to list them to focus on them better.
One of the great trends of 2019 was the customization of his Nike Vapor Untouchable Pro 3 Uptempo, sometimes worn only during warm-up, sometimes in the game. Each time with a specific reason and meaning: in the first case a tribute to his past at Louisiana State University but above all to his favorite NBA team, the Los Angeles Lakers, due to the use of yellow and purple; in the second they are covered with hair (complete with a nose on the toe and cleats to recall the teeth) to support a Cleveland dogs shelter; in the third case they take the Miami vibes inspired by the teal, pink and black sneakers worn in 2010 by Lebron James, the Elite 8 and 9 'South Beach'; in the fourth case simply paying homage to his zodiac sign, scorpion.
Often were seasonal events that stimulated the imagination of OBJ: just over a month ago, on the occasion of Halloween, the Browns player wore a pair of orange shoes clearly inspired by the 2009 Air Force 1 'Low Savage' in which his number clearly stands out, the 13. Besides the number are always present his initial: a couple of examples are the pair of Air Jordan 1 High OG that are so reminiscent of the coloring of the Cactus Jacks, as well as sneakers that recall the Nike Air Max 1 Supreme "Animal Pack" from 2006 with the zebra and cheetah upper.
