From the 25th anniversary of the adidas Predator to the SuperBowl (nss sports has collected here the best and worst commercials), through the most broadcasted women's world cup in history. 2019 was a year full of sports events that provided the backdrop for a lot of commercials. The strategies adopted by the various brands for their commercials were different, and they were often adapted to the context. While adidas and PUMA seem to have focused more on the game dimension, with funny ads, Nike has focused almost entirely on the emotional branding. Almost all of Nike's advertising this year has tried to establish a kind of emotional bond with the recipients of the campaigns, through ads based on real stories that were able to 'touch' costumers in depth.
