PUMA E RHUDE SI ISPIRANO AL MOTORSPORT PER LA NUOVA COLLEZIONE
March 6th, 2020
A happy return after the successful FW19 collabo: in this capsule we find the European sport-oriented style of PUMA interpreted by Rhuigi Villasenior, creative director of the American brand, according to his vision of a classic Californian look; minimalism meets motorsport through reinvented badges, logos and cooler graphics while the color palette remains consistent with RHUDE's aesthetics, giving the collection a vintage touch, with reflective elements that create contrast and give it a modern look.
Functionality is the key when it comes to clothing in this collection. The utility vest is a trendy cotton vest, with fabric strap and plastic buckle that guarantee a perfect fit, a front closure with metal snap buttons, front pockets with zip and PUMA x RHUDE logo embroidered on the front pocket. Designed with reflective elements inspired by the world of motorsport, the jacket has a half zip closure, a pouch pocket, a graphic print on the back and laces to adjust the fit. The bucket hat is the reversible hat with a fully reflective 3-D part with the embroidered PUMA x RHUDE logo, while the other side is black with the "Nothing's finished" print and the PUMA fabric label.
A style that comes from the rich archives of PUMA, as evidenced by the Performer sneaker with a modern look, nubuck upper with nylon inserts with a mix of reflective details and pink leather overlays, soft colors and suede overlays, EVA midsole, sole in rubber and the suede Formstrip. The line also includes variants of the Alteration NU and the Ralph Sampson Lo: the first uses a '' bulbous '' midsole for a rubber-like texture that is further accentuated by cut overlaps and a rubber sole, offering a more voluminous appearance . Last but not least, the Ralph Sampson is made of suede and features highly visible reflective materials.
