What happened during the virtual concert organized by Milan

A virtual concert to support the fight against the pandemic. This was "From Milan with Love", a charity event organized by Milan and Roc Nation to pay homage to all those who are fighting Covid-19 in the front line, in Italy and worldwide.

To sing many music stars, from Alicia Keys to Capo Plaza, to lead Diletta Leotta and a hit-maker of international music and top-level sneakerhead: DJ Khaled, who through the AC Milan Instagram account had announced the event declaring that ''This Live Streaming is a beautiful example of the power of being united: it stimulates and inspires people in a moment of great need. I am proud to present such a beautiful event, paying tribute to real superstars, in Italy and all over the world''.

After the opening by Alicia Keys, accompanied by the piano, the voices of great artists of the international music scene alternated, including Kelly Rowland, ex Destiny Child, Robin Thicke, Gavin Rossdale and Chris Traynor of the Bush, Jay Buchanan of Rival Sons, Lola Ponce, Matteo Bocelli, Capo Plaza and Rkomi, interspersed with interventions by other great personalities from the world of sport and not only such as Kakà, Danilo Gallinari, Thierry Henry and Carlo Cracco.

Paolo Maldini was also connected: "In Milan the emergency has not yet been overcome, but I know that many of us are experiencing this situation - said the director of the Rossoneri's technical area -. I myself, and my family, lived in first-person experience, and we were lucky to have been affected only slightly. But I know who has faced more difficult situations. My thanks go to all those who have been on the front lines for two months. What you do it is simply extraordinary. I am convinced that we will win this battle together".

The funds raised during the live "From Milan with Love" event were donated to the Milan Foundation and the non-profit organization Direct Relief, an international humanitarian organization, whose mission is to improve the health and life of people affected by poverty or emergencies, such as the case of this pandemic.
