Amazon has decided to make a gift to British fans and will broadcast 4 games for each remaining Premier League match day free of charge without requiring any subscription upgrades. In fact, to access the online streaming service there will be no need to have signed a contract with Amazon Prime Video, but you can take advantage of it simply by logging into the platform with your ''basic'' account.
When the English championship resumes on June 17, a total of 92 games will remain to be played, which will be broadcast by Sky Sports, BT Sports BBC Sport and, in fact, Amazon Prime which will then broadcast 33 games for free.
Alex Green, CEO of Prime Video Sport Europe, said:"Like the rest of the country, we are excited to see the Premier League return to action. We will make all four remaining Amazon Prime Video league days available for free in the 2019-2020 season''.
Already in May it had been announced by the BBC that, in the event that the Premier League had reopened its doors, some games would be broadcast live. But the "news" is that an unencrypted game of the English top flight has not been broadcast live since 1988. Sky Sports has also joined the initiative making it visible to all the 25 remaining games of which it had the exclusive, between including the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool.
