AS Roma and Nike to end technical partnership
After six seasons, the 20-21 kits will be the last with a Swoosh on it

"AS Roma and Nike have today announced that they have prematurely terminated their commercial partnership"
With these words, AS Roma announced today the early divorce from Nike. The contract, signed on March 12, 2013 and entered into force in the 2014-15 season, had a very different deadline from 2020.
There were still long years of contract that tied the swoosh to the club but the top management of Roma have preferred to change path earlier than expected.
According to Francesco Calvo, Chief Operating Officer,"the early termination of the commercial agreement will allow AS Roma to explore new opportunities in the equipment and licensing space".
In a note, the club made it clear that the partnership will last another season. For the 2020-21 season, therefore, Rome and Nike have found a new agreement that provides for the complete and exclusive supply by Nike for the technical competition, training and casual material of the First Team, the youth teams and the women's teams.
